The Cincinnati Cricket Club is a non-profit recreational club that actively promotes and fosters the gentleman’s game of cricket, in the greater Cincinnati area. This club has over 45 registered members with diverse backgrounds and from various nationalities.
Cincinnati CC was formed a decade ago, thanks to the efforts of a few cricket enthusiasts. Unlike most other cricket lovers, who retire their cricket interests after coming to the USA, this group of enthusiasts, worked against odds to build the platform for the future. Over the years, the team has attracted a variety of players including beginners, mid level players & highly talented cricketers. Despite the varied level of talent & skills, one commonality that binds this club together is the passion and energy to play & promote the game in Cincinnati.
The club begins its cricket season in April and wraps up by October. During this time, CCC players get to practice once a week and play serious matches over the weekends. Every year the club participates in the Midwest cricket tournament which hosts over 20 teams from the Tristate region. This year CCC fielded three teams in the Midwest tournament, after having fielded two competitive teams in the previous two years.
In early 2004, CCC was proud to make the Voice of America Park its home ground. This picturesque field is located in West Chester, OH.
